loud cpu fan by ian
Ive recently bought this setup. It's fantastic apart from 1 problem.
The cpu fan is so damn loud all the time. Im used to system fans running loud initially while systems boot up but this thing sounds like its permenantly running flat out. Ive changed the fan settings using msi afterburner but that has made no difference.
A little help here please guys as its driving me nuts.
This can be an issue with overclocking, basically. Generally high overclocks and quiet systems are mutually exclusive. If you lose or reduce the overclock the fan should be able to run at a lower speed resulting in less noise. It might be worth posting on our forums at http://forums.aria.co.uk in the OverClocking, Modding & Benchmarking section, the helpful people there might have more specific advice which could allow you to balance your overclock with your desire for a bit of peace and quiet :).
Sata3 by Christo
Hi,
Do you stock a SATA3 PCI-e card that will work with this motherboard. I like the ASUS card, with 2xSATA3 and 2xUSB3 but not sure if it will work.
Many thanks.
yes teh Asus card will work fine no problem at all.
exisitng system by GDavies
could i plug in my existing 500w atx psu and sata 11 hdd to make this system work along with the optical drives? I dont mind buying a pci e graphics card as an extra to run my dvd flight sim. would this bring my case back to life.
yes
Gtx 560TI by Jack
Will a gtx 560ti be a good idea with this bundle or will it bottleneck.
thx
Although it depends on the game to some extent, I doubt very much that the CPU would be a bottleneck if you were to combine this system with a 560.
