Your new role as a Sales Executive

You will be providing telephone based account management and other support activities for new business to grow your portfolio of Key Accounts (this will involve an element of cold calling). As a Sales Executive, you will have to ensure that they get the high level of service they have come to expect from us.

As a Technology company it is paramount that you have a thorough understanding of components and the industry as a whole, you will also be hungry to learn more in this fast moving environment. We pride ourselves on the fact that we cater to all of our customers’ needs, making sure that they always get the best value for money.

Working closely with the Operations Supervisor and the Systems Supervisor, as a Sales Executive you will be given great exposure to the workings of the Company.

What you'll need to succeed as a Sales Executive

To successfully secure this job, you will need to have 12 months+ of proven sales experience and be able to highlight your hunger to progress. This is a busy company, in a fast paced market and you will be expected to work to targets in order to assist the company in meeting its objectives and SLA's.

The successful Sales Executive candidate will be someone who is hardworking, enthusiastic and reliable. You must be presentable, a good communicator, willing to learn and able to use your own initiative. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy is a must for this position.

You will be expected to build strategic relationships with senior members of the companies key accounts in order to maximise contract and future growth.

Ideally you will

  • Have a good standard of education and proven sales experience
  • Ensure the Corporate Values of the Company are actively promoted and implemented at all times and act in accordance with your confidentiality agreement with the Company at all times.
  • Be passionate about a career within the IT industry and have a knowledge of technology, components, computers, compatibility and upcoming tech
  • Possess excellent communication skills and a good telephone manner.
  • You will have to deal with other departments
  • Be driven by set targets
  • Be able to work in a fast paced environment and with a high degree of accuracy and sound attention to detail
  • Previous experience and a proven track record is a must for this position
