Does this PSU have 4+4 pin Motherboard power (or CPU Power)?
And would this PSU Fit and work with Gigabyte F2A78M-DS2?
No this does not have 4+4 Power, the 'ARIAnet 500W APFC 85% Efficient 80+ Bronze Power Supply' does though however it is recommended to go for the 500w EVGA PSU.

No, it does not have enough PCI-E power cables nor enough molex connections for adapters.

Do these have a 6 pin power out for a graphics card? If not, why not? The only reason for a PSU above about 300W is surely because people need to power a GPU? No-one has that many HDD or optical drives needing that much wattage (do they?) Is there any disadvantage/reason not to run a decent GPU card with a 2-molex> 6-pin converter?
Also, what is the REAL (operational) difference between a cheap PSU like this one, and one with similar wattage output costing 4 or more times the price? Is there any 'danger' to a Mobo or graphics card from using a cheaper PSU?
It does not have 6 or 8 pin connectors. The real operational differences over power supplies costing more are ultimately reliability and life span.

hi i have bought this and i upgraded to a pentium d 3.4 duel core cpu on a gigabyte 945p-s3 board and it keeps crashing .... but when i put a single core 3.2 p4 in its fine do i require a higher watt psu ?
