Bang on by C+
Just a little remark for those thinking of buying one.
In sort, its a must. I brought my first one about 6 months ago costing near £120. Then about 3 months ago couldnt resist a second seeing it around £70.
I now have a raid 0 setup with 2x Chronos SSD.
Ashame but I currently only have a sata 11 board.
With one SSD I saw = 253mb write / 282mb read
in Raid 0 (2xssd) I get = 473mb write / 542mb read
in sata 11 mode !!!
thats with an AMD SB750 controller - which isnt known for its speed.
(note the above results a throttle back because of sata 11)
on sata 111 in raid 0 I would expect arounf 1000mb+
