Question  fJLESnjDC by Caitlin

I'll tell you what, you've got a good deal there. I bought one for this cotuempr and it costs me a3120 (that's what, $200?). I have another sitting here too that I never installed, just in case. Thinking back, I remember when 240MB drives were -massive-, god I'm getting old

 Good Speed Increase by jackocurly0074

Upgraded from a RAID stripe and the performance difference is massive! Much faster booting and shutting down as you would expect from an SSD. Got very decent deal which made this SSD worth it over the Sandforce based controllers which are generally not as reliable! Figures are inline with the spec and firmware update gives good speed boost.

Question  Question by dan

hey i have a asus P6T S motherboard, i cant remember the specs can you tell me if this motherboard is sata III compatible and if not will this drive run sata2, thanks

Answer by daniele on Tuesday, January 3, 2012
If it is the Asus P6T SE (, then it only has SATA II (3Gb/s) ports. Yes, any SATA drive is backwards compatible with previous versions of SATA. I'm using this very drive in a SATA II port of my MacBook Pro and love the speeds i'm getting

Question  Got Mine on 6th December by Mr_bob_bob
