Do you know if this drive can work with the Playstation 3?

I want to cut down my downloaded games loading up times if not this then what hard drive could you recommend me to get for the Playstation 3?

Answer by thomasr on Wednesday, January 9, 2013

Yes this will work in a PS3. It may decrease lag too.

Thank you.

I have this in my main system and have built four others using this drive. I can boot into W7 within 24 seconds and its ready to use. Tried OCZ and had to take it back next day. If you get this one you wont be sorry.

Better Still....... by Adrian

Further to my previous review.....WOW! Stuck this in another machine, SATA3 with AHCI enabled, this is the future! Roll on price reductions for larger sizes! I couldn't use a mechanical one again. They're so SSSSSLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW!!!!!! This SSD opens everything yesterday! I'm sure I'm only single clicking icons as progs launch too quick after the supposed 2nd click! BUY BUY BUY! Espicially at this reduced price.

Reliable, Fast and compatible by Nathan

This is my 2nd Crucial drive, and it doesn't fail me like others have, my mobo is P67A-UD5-B3 and this SSD works very well with it I've had issues with OCZ and Mushkin drives so I decided to come back to Crucial and will be staying with them for the not to distant future.
