gaming by tom
I am on a very very strict budget and planning on buying the 2TB wd cavier green and I am just wondering what will this effect in a gaming PC, I am aware that it is not a very fast HDD but I just want to know if it will effect anything other than the load times for the games? Will it effect the map loading in open world games? Or effect my loading that much that I will fall behind in call of duty by the game starting before it loads or something like that?
Thank you in advance.
HDD's in games are responsible for loading in levels or maps, in regards to loading in the map during gameplay, this is the responsibility of the GPU or CPU.
You shouldn't see any dramatic falls in load times compared to a 7200RPM HDD.

The hard drive does not come with any cables, however that motherboard will come with 2 SATA cables.
