Sata3 by Mark
What happens when you get to Sata 3 then ? Do you currently have conversion for Sata 3 ? What about Sata 1 is this upwardly compatible ?
sata 1-3 are all forwards and backwards compatible.
NAS Question by TJ
Would this work with a set of IDE drives and a modern NAS (i.e. SATA) box? It seems you'd need to allow extra space for the adaptor though.
I know it's a big ask but could you test/recommend a NAS that could accommodate this if possible?
Thanks in advance
This does indeed need extra space as this fits to the back of the drive and NAS boxes/drives do not normally allow this.
Amiga 4000/030 by Squirrel
Any idea if I can use this to connect a new SATA drive to my old Amiga 4000/030 EC computer as my IDE just died :(
this should be ok with sata drives.

I brought a dvd burner and it has only got SATA and my motherbord has only got IDE will this work and make my dvd burner work and how
It works by connecting the sata drive to this converter using the supplied SATA cable, then connecting the converter block to the IDE port on the motherboard.
