Question  seamless by Lee Snell

Hi, would these work seamlessly? Already tried some tp link homeplugs eith built in wi-fi which worked fine other than you had to keep reconnecting between each zone? Also will they work on different ring mains? And will it be compatible with plusnet adsl? Many thanks

Answer by patrickc on Wednesday, April 16, 2014
These should work fine, as they only extend the wireless signal.

Question  Extender/Access Point by Chandler

Ok, it can be an wireless extender, and it also says it can operate as a wireless adaptor for a wired device. Can it do both at the same time? I'm looking at putting the son's xbox onto the internet, whilst also extending the wireless network into my daughter's room for use with an Apple TV.

Currently the network in the house is served up by an Apple Time Capsule (b/g/n/ac 3TB) and the xbox is only wired, with the additional issue that the daughters room is a blackspot for iphone and apple TV, but ipad works perfectly.

Would this <£20 device serve my needs? My current certain to work option is Apple Airport Express at £75... or would I need 2 of these (still cheaper but with 2 wireless hubs to serve the network would be slowed more) If I need 2, would I be better with another product that can do both, and give me less wifi speed impact?
