WOW! This is the best thing since beer was invented! Fitted my old 40gb IDE which took a couple of minutes. After a few teething problems (not formatting the drive 1st in FAT32 with the included software) and setting the jumper on my HD to slave not master - I got all my MP3's, JPG's and movies off my pc transfered. Took it downstairs plugged it into the TV via the AV input and was greeted by a pleasant "BING" sound, and a pretty menu - it even plays a thumbnail preview of each movie as you hover over it. I'm planning to stick a 500gb HDD in this and never leaving the sofa to change a dvd again! The picture quality is supurb, menu interface very simple, playback is dvd quality. No more hours wasted encoding videos!
