Ricahrd, you can get two figure-8 power leads to connect to the psu brick, that 1/2's your problem. Dave, you have put an HDD in it haven't you? ;-) to check if XP recognises it right-click My Computer > Manage > disk Management and see if it's there, check out my review for tips on formatting with windows
thanks for that Tim

I'm missing the driver CD for this unit and I can't get the driver from the manufacturer's site. Is there any other way of getting hold of the drivers?
Drivers? Should be picket up by Windows as a Mass storage device. What ver of Windows are you using Dave?

Good product, make sure the drive is set to master and you format the drive with the software that comes with it. Can you supply a power supply for it? It is a pain having to fish behind the tele to unplug the power when I want to use it on the PC, two supplies would be great!
Youre right, two power supplies would be a good idea... I'll put the idea forward to the makers!

Am trying to get my dad to go digital....TV and media centre pc, but he likes to take TV recordings to his mobile home too and I was thinking i'd have to get him a DVD burner and a player at the caravan etc...but this looks IDEAL! Does it come with power supply so it is USB-power-independant? I presume so as its 3.5"
AC powered, yup.

Any idea when these will be back in stock?
Dont think there is enough aluminium in production to meet our demand for these babies! We will try to keep stock in as best we can ;) Plenty in at the moment! ;)
