My motherboard has dual channel RAM architecture. Would this RAM work on my motherboard? Can you do something with BIOS to make it support these RAM?

I have no idea since you have neglected to mention anything about your motherboard. If all your concerned about is Dual channel RAM then yes, single channel RAM will work in dual channel configurations

Single Channel means a matched pair would show up as 2x1GB (using this memory as an example) where as Dual Channel would show up as 1x2GB instead. You can use more than one Single Channel memory fine as long as you are using less than or equal to the maximum supported memroy per channel on your motherboard.
