Bottleneck? by Scott
Hi, will this CPU bottle neck with a Sapphire Nitro R9 380X?
Hello Scott, This CPU will not bottle neck your graphics card however, I would recommend upgrading to the latest 1151 socket from Intel to gain the most of both components.

Everything there will be compatible, the RAM will have enough clearance from the CPU cooler and the Power supply will be enough for everything you have listed.
Compatible motherboard straight out the box by Kevin
Hi, do you have a list of motherboards that support this CPU without a bios update? Obviously I don't have another 1150 CPU laying around to use just to update the bios.
I can't see an option to add the Bios Update Service to the basket (is this in-store only?) and I can't travel to the store.
The Asus Pro-Gamer and the Gigabyte Game Plus will support this chip out of the box.
Question by easty
Thank you for the reply about all the components being compatible. I just have ask though is there a motherboard you could recommend for all of the components. The one i had found looks good but i would like to know.
It all comes down to what you're after, the Gaming 3 board that you picked out will be absolutely fine, if you're looking for something with a bit of style the Gigabyte Game Plus board would also be fine. If you're looking for a higher quality board with better audio then the Gaming 5 would be your best choice.
