Last year I bought a cheap gaming rig and now I am looking at upgrading the CPU. I was wondering if this will be compatible with my current stuff.
Motherboard: GA-H61MA-D2V (Socket 1155)
RAM: Corsair 2x4GB 1333Mhz CL9 DDR3
GFX: XFX Radeon HD 7770 1024MB
PSU: 500w Silent Storm
Also as im only changing the CPU will i need to reinstall windows?
It is compatible but I would recommend getting a more high end motherboard as this is an overclocking chip which your motherboard doesn't support

Will this work with these motherboards?? by Chris
Hi guys im abit stuck im looking at upgrading my pc with this chip i just want to know if it will support any of these motherboards the first one is quickcode 55948 the second one is quickcode 58160 thanks for your time and i hope to hear from you soon
This CPU will not fit either of those boards im afraid, you need a motherboard that supports Intel socket 1155, hope this helps.
