Will it run this GPU by Andrew
Would this be able to the run a HD4890 like xfx the ones you were selling the other day.
This should be fine.
Question by kendou69
Can you tell me if this will give enough power for a system running a core 2 duo and 8800 gts 512 sli card, if not what would you recommend.
Yes this should be fine but I would recommend getting a 600w+ PSU to give you room for expansion.
For an 8800GTS SLI configuration I would recommend a branded PSU of 650W or better, really. Something like quick code 43905. This PSU would either not provide enough juice or would at the least be stressed while doing so.
Question by Jason UK
Hi just wondering if this psu will provide sufficient power for ;
also id like to know if this all i need to complete my set-up
do i need any cables etc. Im intending to play Medieval II.
Then i can order everything.
I can't find the quick code #44708 you provided. Also your list does not seem to include a motherboard, case or graphics card. I'd recommend giving our sales team a call, they should be able to help to spec up a system to your requirements.
Is it modular by kenkanobi
Is this power supply modular?
No, non-modular. Modular power supplies are listed in their own sub-category, here:
