Question  Question by kendou69

Hi

Can you tell me if this will give enough power for a system running a core 2 duo and 8800 gts 512 sli card, if not what would you recommend.

Thanks

Answer by thomasy on Tuesday, May 10, 2011
Yes this should be fine but I would recommend getting a 600w+ PSU to give you room for expansion.
Answer by andrewn on Tuesday, May 10, 2011
For an 8800GTS SLI configuration I would recommend a branded PSU of 650W or better, really. Something like quick code 43905. This PSU would either not provide enough juice or would at the least be stressed while doing so.

Question  Question by Jason UK

Hi just wondering if this psu will provide sufficient power for ;

39307
40315
44708
43903
42758

also id like to know if this all i need to complete my set-up
do i need any cables etc. Im intending to play Medieval II.
Then i can order everything.
Thanks.

Answer by andrewn on Saturday, April 30, 2011
I can't find the quick code #44708 you provided. Also your list does not seem to include a motherboard, case or graphics card. I'd recommend giving our sales team a call, they should be able to help to spec up a system to your requirements.

Good price, good quality! by Trenton

This arrived promptly today with next day delivery. I am not going to ramble on about it, all I can say is it seems very good quality and seems to fit onto my mobo better than my previous PSU which you had to force to click on.. it works fine and is a good price, a brilliant buy!

Question  Is it modular by kenkanobi

Is this power supply modular?

Answer by andrewn on Sunday, April 24, 2011
No, non-modular. Modular power supplies are listed in their own sub-category, here:
