sata plus ide by pukkar

Could I use this - Sata connection, along with a IDE hard drive connection. Anxious about possible conoflict in Master Slave scenario; across the two different bus connections ?

Response by andrewn
Should work fine, SATA is completely seperate from the IDE channels, and doesn't have master/slave settings.

Question  Cables by trix0407

I am very new to computer building, but I am keen to include this in my new build which I plan to start soon. Does it come with the required cabling to connect it to the motherboard and PSU and if not which cables will I need.

Many thanks.

Answer by gavin on Friday, November 26, 2010
You'll need to buy a SATA cable. Your PSU should have a SATA power connector.

Question  Cable by Emmm

I want to know that what cable shall I buy to run this dvd-rom with #40209.I received this dvd-rom with no cable, and I didn't know what to do.

Answer by danielm on Friday, September 24, 2010
Any SATA data cable should do fine connecting this to the board, #41419 will be fine.

Good but downfall on Aria\\'s behalf. by FullSpectrum

The drive very good for the money but when I received it it wasn't with any fixings, power cable or even a SATA cable! Luckily I had a spare SATA cable but I've had to spend an extra £10 in order to get a Molex->SATA power converter here in time for when the computer needs to be up and running by!
