Limited manual overclocking by TwoDigitz
I found this board to be a solid board reliable with plenty of features, the audio software is pretty good but the overclocking software doesnt work with ATI and even with Nvidea set up it causes the system to freeze requiring a reset, I had problems with the msi software.
The Bios only offers limited options for manual over clocking and what you get works well enough but its not a board for serious over clockers.
The 4 LED diagnostic set up at the back is a great idea and should be adopted by all boards because its a really handy tool to have around.

I have had previous MSI boards in the past and as such, you get used to the slight manufacturer quirks. Firstly for anyone upgrading their existing mobo - this particular board requires additional power connectors. 1 x 24 PIN ATX power connector 1 x 8 PIN ATX/12V connector 1 x 4 PIN Molex connector (located between the PCI-E sockets) The initial BIOS can be picky with types / brands of DDR2 modules installed and even though I have 800mhz / PC6400 it insists that it runs at 667mhz... again no big problem to change manually. Rather strange USB back plate included with lots of diagnostic LED's... why they put this on the back as this is usually the last place you will be looking when you pc wont boot. On board audio is very good quality and in general as are most of the other built in features. Saving best for last though is the performance is very good when using a Core Due CPU - and can be fairly easily overclocked using stock cooler etc.537 of 992 people rated this review as helpful
