what main boards support this monstrosity . ive had problems finding supported boards for nvidias 7950gx2 and dont want to have the same problems

any of the current board should work fine - it works differently to the 7950GX2, so it shouldn't be afflicted by the same compatibility problems.

Both of these cards feature ATI's Crossfire X in which no master and slave configurations are used. I don't think that this card would work with your current card.
