Question  MSI OC edition?? by MMEgaTron

Hi, the title of this product says its the MSI gtx 460 OC edition, but the picture shows the standard gtx 460. The writing says its made by Palit (which I'm assuming is a mistake). Can you please confirm that this IS indeed the OC edition? Thanks

Answer by thomasy on Tuesday, March 22, 2011
Yes this is the OC edition :)

i mainly play WoW cataclysm and want a decent upgrade, i was looking at this MSI GeForce GTX 460 Cyclone OC 1024MB GDDR5 Graphics Card

will the card give me alot better fps on wow? and with the 430W Corsair Builder Series 430CX Power Supply support it all with slight room for a gfx overclock?, what do you think?

Answer by andrewn on Monday, March 14, 2011
The 460 is a substantial step up from your 9500GS. You should certainly notice a difference in FPS.

The 430W PSU is cutting it a bit fine, especially for an overclock. nVidia state 450W minimum for the GTX 460, and while they are generally leaving 'room for error', personally I'd try to stretch for the 500W version.

Question  SLI by Tony

I recently purchased an Anarchy GTX P67 Gaming PC from you guys and I am curious as to wether putting another one of these in the system would make much difference with games? cheers

Answer by andrewn on Monday, March 14, 2011
It really would depend a great deal on the game and the settings you are running at. Personally I'd say there's no need to upgrade unless you are noticing your current system struggle with what you're trying to get it to do. For some more detailed advice it might be worth asking on our forums, at

compatablility by Stu

will this card work on a MS-7302 motherboard and if not what is the best card for me?

Response by chriss
Hi this should work OK but we would advise checking with MSI to confirm compatability prior to purchase.
