Will the 950mhz overclock card still carry the gigabyte SOC brand or is it from another vendor?
it will still be Gigabyte Super Overclock just the core will not be quite as overclocked as this one :)

Do you have an expected delivery date from your supplier, you are not the only website Out of Stock on this item?
With the low yield of this there is 950 version being released shortly approximately 2 weeks lead time. The 1000Mhz are like hens teeth.

What wattage psu would this card require? I have a 600W ocz cooler. i would be running a single card not sli.
nVidia state minimum PSU is 500w - you should be fine.
