Eyefinity support by Mark
I have one of these cards and I was wondering if it supports 3 monitors in eyefinity? It says it has eyefinity but it only says it supports 2 monitors and also only has a VGA, DVI and HDMI out.
Also it doesn't come with a VGA/DVI converter.
You will need to get an active display port adapter that the card does not come supplied with.
Eyefinity by Mark
This card says it supports eyefinity but i'm assuming on only 2 monitors? So would 2 VGA monitors work, could you hook up 3?
It will support three you just need the right adapters to do so.
Better than going 2.1? by DaveJay
I have recently built a PC from scratch with a nice Phenom II x4 Black Edition with 3.2 per core, and the motherboard is a Gigabyte 880GM-UD2H with 8gigs of RAM running at 1800.. so its a pretty meaty system, but the onboard graphics are a total let down for anything :(
The question is.. as far as I know it supports 2.0 PCI-E and indeed *Quickcode - 40294* is a 2.1
Now.. will the 2.1 card run better, or will this one outperform. I want high end graphics for gaming my cheeks off, and indeed I want games like COD-BO, Fallout NV and basically anything insane to be able to run..
I got COD and Fallout and well.. the graphics are jumpy and horrendously unplayable. So I NEED a card pronto.
Swift reply would be appreciated. And I'm assuming for one the size and rate of my processor and RAM will give me enough room to get anything I fancy.. but I don't want to go TOO nuts with the prices, and indeed if there are any NVidia cards that can outperform at this price or under, tell me pronto :P
(My assumption is from the specs tho, this and the quoted *40294* are a lot more powerful for the price range)
Many, many thanks.
The difference between PCI-E 2.0 and 2.1 is minimal, mostly 2.1 supports additional management, support and troubleshooting systems which will be fully implemented in 3.0. So far as I know there's no performance difference. As to the two cards you mention, the other card is now discontinued.
dvi to vga by clover
Does this come with a dvi to vga adaptor?
Hi, this does come with the adaptor
Compatibility problems by Damage
Just got one of these - can't get 2 1920x1080 monitors to work (one only works at 30Hz or 1600x1200. Is there a manual? Do I have to use any specific combination of connectors?
Are there any know issues with this and Windows 7 64bit?
Also, it looks as though the driver is specific to this card - is that correct? VTX3d have this card listed as discontinued.
Hi, I would recommend you go to www.ati.com and get the latest version of the Catalyst drivers. They aren't specific to the manufacturer and this should fix the problem, if you are still having problems please call our customer service team who can look into it further for you.
