Great Buy by Steve
Needed to replace a CPU fan on a new system that sounded like a jump-jet on takeoff. Bought this and 2 x 120mm Be Quiet case fans long with a case fan power splitter (also from Aria) as there was one case fan header pin on the mobo.
Awesomely impressed with the results: virtually no noise running the three fans, and keeps the 4 Ghz chip stable at 36 degrees (10 degrees cooler then the initial fan). The large fans are very efficient and quiet - juts what it says on the tin.
Couple of things to bear in mind: out of the box, a few of the heatsink vanes were bent and needed to be re-spaced to maintain the airflow between them. No biggie, bit like a tennis player adjusting the racquet strings between points. The heatsink though is quite tall, so check you have the depth in your case to fit it. Mine fit but left no room for the case fan slot on the side over the CPU (so had to use other ones - this may interfere with your plans of directed airflow!).
