Question  Adding extra fan by Terri

Have just installed one of these and would like to dual the fans. However the fan I purchased to do this with, is just standard. I notice that the one supplied with cooler has the rubber pads at each corner.
Would I be able to install with standard fan or do you have the required fan available please?

Answer by niall on Wednesday, May 25, 2011
there shouldn't be any problem with you installing the fan as it is i believe the rubber pads are more for anti-vibration, unfortunately we don't stock the the rubber pads on their own.

Question  Antec Fusion Remote Max; Gigabyte P67A UD5 B3 by Anon

(Compatibility Question)

I want to use this cooler with the following setup:

CASE: Antec Fusion Remote Max
MOBO: GigaByte GA-P67A-UD5 (Rev 1.0) B3
CPU: Intel Core i5 2500K (Socket 1155)
RAM: 4x G.Skill RipjawsX Series PC3-17000

My main concerns are:
(1) Will top of HeatSink & Fan be low enough to fit in this case? (Allowing for height of motherboard standoffs, motherboard, CPU as well)

(2) Will bottom of HeatSink & Fan be high enough off the motherboard, and sufficently far away from the nearest RAM slot, to allow insertion of 4 sticks of RAM?

Answer by philm on Friday, April 22, 2011
The heatsink will fit fine in the fusion with room to spare so that the performance is not hampered.

I am not aware of any issues restricting the use of the four ram slots with the ripjaw memory. Done a quick google and can not see any issues listed.
