I have one of these cooling my i5 cpu, its sat at 28c with a 10% over clock, get one if it will fit your case (as it is rather large), it only has about 10mm clearnce in my nzxt gamma case.411 of 817 people rated this review as helpful

Excellent!!! by Graham
Okay,My AMD Phenom II x2 555 BE (#41167) is overclocked to 4.1Ghz and has been for a couple of months. 'Temps???' I hear you ask... 50?...lower...40?...lower.
34*C Maximum!!! Sat here at the moment my CPU is idle and around 18*C.
This cooler has been worth every penny i paid and i bought it for about £25 so this is clearly a bargain now! Simple to install, very quiet and does exactly what is needed.
The only issues you may find with this cooler is that it stands quite high off the motherboard so it may not fit in some smaller cases, also on my motherboard it goes over the first RAM slot making it difficult to place RAM into or take it out of the slot, but most people will only put it in once anyway in which case put the Ram in before you place this and you will have no problems.
If you want a cheap cooler that works to well for the price, BUY ONE, you won't be dissapointed.
Review by TAZ007
Had this cooler as part of a bundle, the instructions are very poor, and even the picture that are supposed to help you are to small to be of any use, this has been the most frustrating HSF i have had the pleasure of fitting, and i have fitted a few, the fan was quiet hard to mount too, took me longer to fit this than it did to to the complete build and install vista so as far as instructions go i can only give 1 stars
As for the cooler itself, once fitted it is very soild and reassuring, its tall, and only just fits, can block off memory slots depending on which way you wanna fit it, can take two 120mm fans for push and pull, tho i dont feel this is needed, it cools very well indeed, idles @ 28 to 31 and has not gone over 48 even when playing BF3, i would defo buy this again, like the design with the heat pipes directly on the cpu
Great Cooler by Shane
I brought this product as Tom's Hardware builds usually uses this on their gaming builds.
It lowered my CPU temp from 52c to roughly 25c while being CPU strain tested.
I found it some what difficult to install, new builders will need to look indepth at the instructions.
As such - The metal plate goes on to the back of the motherboard..
Other then that, I fully recommend it... perfect CPU cooler, I suggest MX2 thermal paste to go along with it,
