Description:
High Performance CPU Cooler for Intel and AMD
The Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 is the upgraded version of the renowned Freezer 7 Pro. With the flexible mounting design, this version is compatible with the Intel Core i7, Core i5, as well as AMD Socket AM3. Featuring an ultra quiet 92mm fan and six heatpipes, the Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 is one of the most efficient and quiet CPU coolers for power users.FEATURES:
The unique heatsink design consists of 42 fins which significantly increase the heat dissipation area to distribute massive amounts of heat faster and more efficiently. Featuring a 92mm PWM fan, six heatpipes and pre-applied ARCTIC MX-2 thermal paste, the Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 offers performance far beyond stock coolers and achieves 130 watts cooling capacity, making it one of the most efficient CPU coolers available.
The Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 is extremely quiet. Thanks to its low noise impeller and patented fan holder, the 92mm fan is almost inaudible. Controlled by a PWM signal, the fan runs at just the minimum necessary speed for lowest noise level and optimum cooling capacity. The Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 generates only 0.8 Sone at 2,500 rpm which is much quieter than standard coolers and many other after market coolers.
The unique mounting system is very user-friendly. The whole installation can be done in a few minutes. This is a total peace of mind solution for both Intel and AMD users.

Hi
I have a F2A75M-D3H motherboard with AMD A10-5800K not overclocked
is this compatible, as the stock fan is not providing the best of cooling.
Thanks
Hello,
Yes this is compatible.
Thank you.

I've had one of these fitted to my old Phenom II x4 machine for quite a while now and can honestly say these are one of the best coolers I've ever used, as are the Arctic Cooling case fans (which Aria DO NOT stock for some reason by the way) Hint Hint Aria!
Don't be put off buy the cheap price but unless your seriously into over-cooking your rigs then these little corkers will do the job with flying colours and they're really, really quiet too. I'm so impressed with the Anti-vibe mechanism that I've just bought one today for my new Phenom II x6, Asus Crosshair IV Formula setup too.
Please get the hint Aria and stock the PWM Pro case fans too they are brilliant, stylish, Very quiet they shift some air and they're daisychainable too. They are a little deeper size wise if your a bit low on case space though.
I cannot recommend them enough and they're cheap as chips. Give one a go you won't regret it.
Thanks for the review, I'll mention to purchasing that you'd like the fan!
Good for Intel Bad for AMD by edison
Hi there, just want to say a little something about this product.
I have two of these on 2 different computer. One of the computer has a intel core 2 duo q6600 socket 775( i think it was) and it work really great on it, kept it really cool around 24°C at idle.
btw i also use the "Arctic Cooling 4g MX-3" thermal paste for both computer.
As for the other computer it was a AMD Athlon X2 2.7GHz( forgot the full name) i didnt see any difference with the Heatsink they provided and this Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 PRO Rev.2, both was running at 30°C at idle. Which feel as if i wasted £20 on it maybe it was because the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 PRO didnt covered all of the AMD cpu surface area, I don't know...
Anyway to sum it up, I would highly reccommend this with Intel CPU only rather than AMD CPU
Or in other words, the stock AMD heatsink is quite good compared to the stock Intel heatsink.

i have just fitted one of these and i am amazed at the results!
prime95 used to have the core temps rocketing past 65 degrees (and then shutdown) with the weedy little intel unit fitted,
now with this beast in there, the temps hold at 46 degrees hour after hour.
thats 20 degrees cooler folks! 20!!! for this price you cannot fail, superb unit, fiddly for my sausage fingers to fit! but its in there and its quiet too, the rubber fan carrier is a great idea, silky smooth and well chilled, sounds like a beer advert to me lol!!
