High Performance CPU Cooler for Intel and AMD

The Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 is the upgraded version of the renowned Freezer 7 Pro. With the flexible mounting design, this version is compatible with the Intel Core i7, Core i5, as well as AMD Socket AM3. Featuring an ultra quiet 92mm fan and six heatpipes, the Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 is one of the most efficient and quiet CPU coolers for power users.

  • Extremely Cool
The unique heatsink design consists of 42 fins which significantly increase the heat dissipation area to distribute massive amounts of heat faster and more efficiently. Featuring a 92mm PWM fan, six heatpipes and pre-applied ARCTIC MX-2 thermal paste, the Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 offers performance far beyond stock coolers and achieves 130 watts cooling capacity, making it one of the most efficient CPU coolers available.

  • Extremely Quiet
The Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 is extremely quiet. Thanks to its low noise impeller and patented fan holder, the 92mm fan is almost inaudible. Controlled by a PWM signal, the fan runs at just the minimum necessary speed for lowest noise level and optimum cooling capacity. The Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 generates only 0.8 Sone at 2,500 rpm which is much quieter than standard coolers and many other after market coolers.

  • Easy Installation
The unique mounting system is very user-friendly. The whole installation can be done in a few minutes. This is a total peace of mind solution for both Intel and AMD users.

  • Socket Compatibility

Bought one of these to cool my E6600. Unfortunately it did not fit my 775 Fatal1ty motherboard, no way near, so it's gathering dust in my bedroom :(

     SIMPLY AMAZING ! by brianthesnail

with nearlly all intel and amd cpu,s retailing with stock coolers many users will happily use these without any problems .. however after around 6 months stock coolers tend to become noisy and in some cases unbearable
the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 PRO Rev.2 is the answer.. at just £15 this will reduce idle temps by a average of 8c.and loads temps will also drop by anywhere up to 20c...
installation is probally the easiest of all 3rd party coolers.. the bracket fits using a two stage plug system .. you place the black plug through the appropriate hole on the bracket ( support for lga775,1155,1156,1366 and amd am3,am3+ ) then once this is done you insert the white plug which opens the black plug behind your motherboard thus securing the bracket to the motherboard .... finally you attach the cooler to the bracket using the 2 supplied screws ( crosshead )
then connect the 4pin cpu power header to your motherboard header ( CPU1 ) and thats it ...NOTE : thermal compound is pre-applied .. its arctic MX-2 which is a reasonably good thermal material ...
the whole installation procedure should not take more than 15 minutes ( even quicker for enthusiasts ) .....
also arctic cooling do a full range of replacement parts for this cooler and other coolers at ( click spare parts tab ) ....
in summary the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 PRO Rev.2 Quiet CPU Cooler is in my opinion the best 3rd party cpu cooler in its price range ... and ive not seen a negative review/comment regarding this cooler and rightly so .....
arctic cooling also do the best range of graphic card replacement coolers .. ( )
    good product.. well done aria

Thanks for the thorough review and your business. It is a nice cooler indeed!

Cold but not silent. by Scooter

Running a Q6600 on a P5K-VM Board. Stock cooler ran at circa 60C on idle and round the 70C mark operating (which is probably why it seemed slow).

Easy to install, following the instructions, but it is very bulky compared to Stock, so had to rework wires on my Micro-ATX case.

Current Temps are now idling at 30C and running OCCTPT showed a maximum of 45C with all 4 cores at 100%, after 30mins of usage.

Don't know if I'd agree with silent. Fan is running at a slightly higher noise level (but a different pitch) than the stock, but as I know its a damn sight more efficient, I can live with it.

this cooler was not really designed for quad core CPU's but this thing is cooling my Q6600 which i have overclocked to 3.4Ghz and still running under 55*C under load

     Buy this Fan by Tezzer949

I've used and tried at least 7 different Heatsink fans to enable me to overclock my Q9550 in safety.

Whilst many managed to keep the chip below critical none managed to keep it this cool.

    Idle (at 3.4ghz) 33 degs C (ambient 24 degs c)
    100% load Core 1 at 62 degs C

At stock speeds (2.83ghz) this cooler managed to keep the temps below 50 degs at 100% load

VERY easy to install and very quiet, rubber mounted fan unit.

At this price point it's the best, at treble the price you'll not find many that could still compete against this performance.
