    Question  LGA1150 Compatibility? by greybeard

In answer to a recent question the Arctic Cooling Freezer 13 was said not to be compatible with the new Haswell LGA1150 socket.

Is this correct because Intel themselves say that the CPU fan/heatsink mountings are the same for LGA1150 and LGA1155/6 sockets and this CPU cooler clearly supports the latter?

Is there some other specific incompatibility as regards this particular CPU cooler?

Answer by PeterW on Saturday, January 25, 2014
    I've checked and this does support 1150 CPU's :)
