Helps with cooling, not with vibration by Ceristimo
I bought the Nexus, because I just recently installed a second harddrive, and my computer's case started to hum.
I bought two of them, one for each drive. After the installation, which went smootly, I was in for some nasty suprise...Altough my harddrives temperatures went down with eight degrees celcius on one drive, and six delgrees celcius on the other, it didn't stop the annoying hummingnoise.
When I touch my computers sidepanel the noise is over, and when I stop the second harddrive by putting it in sleepmode, the noise is over too.
So I know it is my second harddrive causing my case to vibrate, but these Nexus DiskTwin's didn't stop that. A real bummer...

I bought the Disktwin Anti-vibration HDD mounts and the frizby to go underneath. They need a double bay, but do the job just as expected. Nice and quiet although not silent. Thats it really. Good for the money.

I bought these to fit my 3.5 drives into the 5.25 slots of the case i bought. they are quite a tight fit although not so much as to cause any problems.
They keep the drives quiet and whether they keep the drives cooler or not i don't know but they arnt that expensive and it cant hurt. (much better than my hack job of getting the drives screwed in!
