Did the job by Stevie Boy
I had a 1T Sata driver to re-house - and the the case did the job. Is wired for IDE drive, but comes with the cabling for a SATA driver which are easy to swap over. It was easy to install and even comes with a screw driver to help.
The power connection is not a tight fit. Not sure if the snugg fit of the drive is going to cause overheating problems. Deffo no room for a fan. So far I have had no problems with it.
Im thinking of buy another one for an old IDE drive where the ICEY case is falling apart. So well worth a punt at £15.......
Anyway you get what you pay for.
2.5\\" sata drive? by Mark
Hi, Can this be used for connecting either 2.5" or 3.5" sata drives to?
It's designed for 3.5" drives. 2.5" ones will work, but the extra space inside the enclosure means the drive may come unattached from the internal connector if moved.
Useless by highlandmist
Tried this box with two different SATA drives and get the same result.
It keeps losing the connection. I loosened the screws and started to pull the drive out and it reconnected. Powered down unplugged and replugged all leads, seemed to work.
Started a disk backup to it and it failed after 2 minutes, noticed the connection light had gone from green to red.
Had enough, is it worth going through the returns process for £15 ?

Sounds like you got a dodgy one. Feel free to return it to us for a full refund or replacement.
Storage Capacity by Steve
Hi, will this drive support a 2tb f3? (I know it states upto 1.5tb but it's worth asking)
Hi Steve, it should work fine, I think the specs say that because 2TB came out after this product,
Reassurance by Ian
For people who buy one and then get worried when the box only says SATA, it DOES have IDE support as well, and all the cables, other than the psu, are inside the case
