i'm considering one of these cases for my new build, i'm planning on a gigabyte GA-K8NF-9 motherboard - will the psu that comes with this case power it? if so, i'm guessing i'll need a 20-24 pin adapter?cheers

    Response by Hadge
The psu will be a standard 20pin

I was enqurying about the power supply of this case. I am going to be getting: Asus A8N-SLi Deluxe nForce4 SLi AMD Athlon64 3200 [2.0,200,939]RET 160GB Seagate Barracuda7 SATA[8MB] XFX Geforce 6600GT 128mb PCI-E 2 x 1GB PC3200 DDR SDRAM - standard The motherboard seems to have some issues with the amount of power required plus the type of supply. It requires 18-amps of current or 200-watts on the 12-volt rail. (See this address fro more info: Could you please specify whether the PSU is suitable. I am also interested in another case, which i would like the same specifics: Phantom MIDI Tower Silver 500W Thanks Ross Cooke

No, you will need an ATX V2.0 PSU for that board. You won't find one of those built in to any case at the moment.

In response to V8_JUNKIE - the four fan mounts are located at the front (under the usb/firewire ports), left side (centre of the panel), back & top (centre). And it looks better in real life than any photo. The front back and sides are mesh and it comes with a cool blue light fan which looks awsome! Once inside you don't need screws as everything clips into place.

This is a great case for the money but I think it’s a little bit flimsy. Also the front panel being plastic seems to act as a sounding board for any vibrations from the hard drives. Packing it out with some foam made it quiet tho :P I would very much like to see a similarly designed case made entirely of aluminium. With a removable MB tray :)
