Description:

The Nexus Version 1 Silent System PC Case is an optimal office or home pc case to create your ultimate silent system. The Caterpillar case is equipped with two Real Silent 120mm case fans (black/white model) to create great airflow inside the case. Plus these case fans have been mounted inside the case with rubber fan mounts to prevent resonance. Further more the inside of the case is fully covered with wave-foam noise absorption material to absorb any unwanted noise coming from your systems components.

The Nexus Version 1 case front is made from the metal mesh which is often use in the audio industry. This gives the case the rugged, strong but clean look.

Check out all the great features of this silent pc case;

Metal mesh
Metal mesh for a quality and sophisticated look. Strong but providing sufficient ventilation openings. Behind the metal mesh part on the bottom-front of the case is a 120MM real silent case fan positioned to get fresh air inside the case.

Wave-foam noise absorption material
This highly effcient noise absorption foam has a wave structure as is used in recording studio's and noise-free chaimbers.

Two 120MM real silent case fans
Inside the Version 1 case you will find two 1000 RPM case fans. These casefans move a massive 36.87 CFM airflow with a very high static pressure. This means the case fans cool very efficiently at extremely low noiselevel.

When you buy the Nexus Version 1 case, you will find a registration card inside the box - please take a look - with the registration card you can visit www.tree-nation.com where you can 'virtually' plant a tree and help fight desertification and even offset CO2 emissions.

Was thinking of putting an Intel DG35EC with an EZCool 600W ATX PSU inside one of these, would this fit?

Question  Wil Creative Fatal1ty fit? by Ben

Hi

Would a Creative Fatal1ty drive bay fit in this case, and still leave enough space for the door to close?

Many thanks,
Ben

5/10, this case has its ups and downs by steven s

this case has its good and bad points just like every other case

i have found that (at times) it can be lacking on space, i have had both a corsair 550W VX and a corsair 750W TX power supply and it leaves little to no room with the 550VX and no room at all with the 750TX (with the wires pressed up on the HDD mounts)

i have also seen that it could also be tight for space with the main board (motherboard), i have put a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R in to the case at the prongs the control the power switch, reset switch and all the gubbins on the front of the case where pressed up on the foam, not a huge issue considering it is only slight (it does not force the prongs in any way)

the other bad thing is the front of the case namely the pull down front, now this could be nit picking but it leaves little space for the floppy / card reader drive in the frond, the drive fits flush to the case but it could get tricky to get things in and out of the drive

The last bad thing i found is only one side of the case can be pulled off, this is all good but this means you can only put screws in 1 side of the drive your putting in to the 3.5" and 5.25" bays

The good points to the case are pretty simple little things i found good

the first thing was the fact of it having 5 bays for hard drives where 4 of them are placed in front of a big 120mm (12cm) fan for what can only be seen as good cool down aria for the drives

the next thing was (again) the fans, it has 2 120mm fans which are placed in such away that it takes a lot of the air (from the front) past the hard drives, past the cpu hsf and past the aria where the pus blows air in and forces it out the 120mm fan at the back

lastly was the foam and quiet fan i thought was a good combo, i have a few of the fans on this case in a pc at the moment and the sound coming from them is next the none, the fans are still can be heard but whit the foam inside this case the sound will be so close to nothing

3/5 - not the best case ever but it is a nice case all the same (some say matter of opinion)but i would suggest this to any one who wants a cheap quite nicely built case
