Overclocked @ 3.6GHZ by Tommy DW

Firstly I do not understand all the complaints about the heatsink on most review sites. I think it's brilliant. The big wide copper basing and with copper piping.

I have this cpu clocked @ 3.6GHZ inside an Antec 300 case.
This thing idles at 26C - 30C. I tried other heatsinks, nothing compares to the cooling of the stock cooler.

My set up is the following: antec 300 case, 2000 rpm 120mm fan on the side door blowing air in to the case, the two exhausts blowing out. The front two fans are cheap 1000 rpm fans blowing in. All on high. This CPU, i think could be pushed all the way to 4.0GHZ, you'd need some spectacular cooling power. With water cooling i think, seriously, you could push this cpu to 4.0GHZ.

A intel man turning over to amd, something rare but can happen. this is bhy far the best ever cpu i have owned.

Seriously though, stick with the stock cooler and use arctic compound, that nice thick silver paste.

Fo9llow my set up above on your own case, trust mer, this thing will clock, and very nicely too.
