Question  15 or 14 pin? by Alex

Just want to check that his cable has all 15 pins and isnt missing pin 9 so that it will work with plug & play monitors?

And give maximum resolutio options ?

Answer by danielm on Thursday, August 5, 2010
Unfortunatly the current items in stock do have the pin nine missing.

Colour by Eddie

A bit dissapointed as this cable came grey and not black as shown, so stands out like a sore thumb on my tv stand and can be seen hanging down the back of the tv. Works perfectly so thats a bonus.

Question  Which Cable? by Greg Gall

Hi, I've inherited an old Samsung SyncMaster 950p CRT monitor and it has a black 15 pin female port at the back along with what look like coaxial ports for R, G, B and V and V/II, whatever they are. My PC has both a blue 15 pin female port and a grey DVI female port. I don't know whether the 15 pin ports are VGA or SVGA (I don't know the difference) Can you recommend a cable that will get the best out of this monitor please?

This cable should do the job just fine.

Question  Sound question by yatesie

Hi. I might be answering my own question but I just bought one of these and put it with my Aria HD TV. Is the reason no sound comes from the laptop through the TV is because this is a VGA cable?

If so, how can I hook up the sound from the laptop to the TV?

Answer by stevenl on Sunday, July 19, 2009
That's correct, VGA is only designed to carry video, not audio. Depending on the TV you have, you will probably need to use #29680.

 Excellent Technology by SHAMAS

I bought this item to convert my laptop screen into a larger screen of my TV. When my tv started to display my laptop by using this 15 Pin Male to Male VGA Cable it was even beter quallity.
