LG kill the HD format war dead...

Who needs format wars?
VHS versus Betamax was probably the first one with a clear cut loser - The two were physically different and there was no way (even if you had a dremel) that you could get one tape into the other player in a sensible way!
However, the HD-DVD and Blu-Ray - both formats use the same size - 120mm - shiny silver disc! You can put them into a single drive so it was only a matter of time until drives were released that would comfortably read both standards - this is where LG have stepped up to the plate...
They've launched two part codes for Christmas (a bit close to Christmas, admittedly - but you can still get them in time) - both the GGC-H20L and GGW-H20L can read CDs, DVDs, Blu-Rays & HD-DVDs - both can write CDs and DVDs - but the difference lies in the fact that the GGW-H20L can also write Blu-Ray discs!
No matter how you look at it, this is the way forward - no difficult decision over what standard to put your money behind and no more confusing choices when trying to buy a film...
Truly "One thing to read them all" :P
