What is included in Our Inspection Service?

Got a fault with your lap top? Won't boot up, the screens stopped working or perhaps the mouse pad is no more! We will carry out an extensive diagnostic inspection on your laptop to get to ascertain the nature of the problem. After completing the diagnostic our team of highly trained technicians will be able to fix the fault and get your notebook back up & running again in no time. Even if you know what the fault is we still complete the diagnostic to ensure that nothing else could be causing fault. Included within the diagnostic we will also run;

  • Virus Scan
    If a virus infects your laptop it can cause multiple problems. Not only will it dramatically affect the behaviour of your PC, it can also spread to other PCs on your network and if ignored, can result in massive data loss. At any one time, your PC could be harbouring multiple viruses, each lying dormant for years, only to become apparent once triggered. One of the first actions our Laptop Technicians will undertake will be to remove all detected viruses.
  • Spyware-Adware Scan
    Although, not as damaging to your laptop as a virus, Spyware and Adware can make a huge difference in the speed of your internet connections. Unscrupulous internet sales companies can use these programmes to acquire personal details from your PC and not only will it cause your PC to become slower, it will usually be the cause of all those unwanted pop up adverts. We will use our software to remove any detected Spyware or Adware

  • Performance Test
    Our performance analysis will show up quickly if there is any application or computer setting that is adversely affecting your performance. Many times a change in some settings can make your laptop feel like it has been upgraded...again this is all included in the initial price
  • Dust and Blockages
    Cooling is a major issue in any computer, but more so in a laptop. Clogged vents can cause at best noise...and at worst overheating, this in turn can cause the system’s CPU (Central Processing Unit) to fail. We check that all fans are operational and make sure the ventilation is clear; this will automatically extend the life of your laptop.

Love your laptop but it's running too slow? Then we can increase its performance by increasing your memory! We will advise you on which type of memory is more convenient for your notebook and install it, all in one go. If you bring your laptop into the store we can do it while you wait so no need to be waiting days.

Upgrades

Maybe you don't have enough space for all of your files - then why not upgrade your hard drive. So when its time for any upgrade we can be there for you too! - You can still use our Collect & Delivery Service and we can fit the part you buy from us and return the laptop back to you...FAST. You have the peace of mind that you do not have to go into the laptop yourself and that once the correct upgrade has been fitted or installed the whole machine gets a thorough check too!

Operating System Installation

If your computer is feeling sluggish and out of date we can help! This service enables you to start from scratch. We advise you on which operating system your notebook can handle and work best with, upgrade it and install it for you.

Data Recovery

The unimaginable has happened ...Important Files, Accounts, Course Work. Don't Panic ...We can normally restore or recover a large percentage of the data in 95% of the cases we come across. It's very important to get the laptop to us as soon as possible so we can start the recovery process. Unfortunately we can never guarantee recovery ...but the less the laptop is used and worked on after the crash the higher our success rate is.

Worried about losing your important files, family photos or your favourite mp3’s from your laptop? We can back up the data of your choice to a DVD, CD or external hard drive if you have one.

Worried about having lots of confidential information on your laptop or are you buying a new laptop and want to sell your old one? Unfortunately in today’s day and age, fraud goes on, so you don’t want someone to have access to any of your personal information.
