Extra hard drive by Seamus
Hi Will this be suitable as an extra storage drive in my Dell Inspiron 530S?
While I cannot guarantee compatibility, this should be fine in your Dell.
Seagate Barracuda 2TB by Cyborg
Fast delivery. Very well packaged in bubble wrap.
Installed drive and formatted no problems on Asrock K8NF4G-SATA2 motherboard.
My original Seagate Barracuda 750.10 failed with the clicking of death after 2.5 years of 24/7 usage. Hope this lasts longer. Going to buy another and RAID 1 Mirror it to help protect the data.
Let you know how I get on when I've set the raid up.

Sata 1 by Jules
Hi. Can you tell me if this will work with Sata1 as I want to use it with an Asus P5PE motherboard which is Sata1 I think. Does the bios support this size?
While I cannot guarantee compatibility, this HDD should be fine with a SATA1 controller.
