Hey, i'm gonna be upgrading to a Quad at X-Mas and i'm building a gaming PC, i've been looking at this Processor and see it's cheap and sounds good i know what I'm dealing with, but do you think this is the processor for me ?

This CPU should be fine for gaming.

 buy one! by Glent

Have this running at 450x7 (3.1Ghz) on stock volatge and im sure it will do more after tweaking. Paired up an Asrock P45XE and 4gb G skill (not the most popular brand of mobo but check out the reviews on this bad boy!)
scores at 7.1 on win 7 at stock will redo another bench later. Runs nice and cool 33 idle 48 load.

hi, does this processor have intel Virtualization Technology? if not which is the closest quad core (in terms of price) you have that has this?

No, this CPU doesn't have Intel VT. Your best bet would be #35943.
