XP Pro with SP3 by MrTrev
Just bought a copy of Win XP Pro, which even came with SP3. I would have prefered it to have been the SP2 version, but never mind I suppose it's still a bonus.
The install wasn't a problem, just a few minor issues with my display driver and that was it. As for registering your product, with the current disc registration is built in, it was a doddle. Not one problem.
Give Vista a miss and get XP while it's still available.
I am unable to comprehend why you would want SP2 over SP3...

I want to buy a Acer Aspire 2930 Intel Core 2 Duo T5800 notebook but it only comes with Vista and I am told I cannot downgrade it to XP is this true?

If I buy a custom built system, this will come to me installed and and cd, if however i choose to reformat my drive as i usually do every 3-4 months will i be able to use the same xp pro oem cd i got with my custom pc to do another installation. basically will it activate the product after it has been installed unlimited activation?
