There aren't many speaker sets that you can get nowadays that have 100W RMS for under £100. This is one of them and having had them for over two years now I can say that the set I have has, and continues, to do me proud! For any room the size of a large bedroom or small living room these have all the power you can need and more and though there isn't a digital connection in the back there are connections for 5.1 input and three 'left and right' inputs enabling you to have up to four different systems connected to your speakers, each one on a different 'channel'. With integrated 4 setting graphic equaliser and independant gain setup for each speaker as well as Bass, Mid and Treble there is plenty of functionality. All this for under £35? All I can say is superb!!! What about sound quality I hear you ask? Well personally I can't fault it. My benchmark is using Animatrix and my ex housemate (sound editor for bbc) thought it was excellent in both stereo and 5.1 mode (5.1 on these rocks!!!). The surround speaker cables are quite long too so for even a large bedroom sized room they just about do. Anything larger though and you may want a bigger system. for £35 though I just can't fault them...oh and the remote has plenty of functionality on it too :-)

A set of really good quality speakers for the price. It is brilliant to be able to connect a normal 2.1 sound and to be able to play it as 5.1. All the leads are provided.
