INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE ON A MAC. I have been asked how i got this working on a mac a few times so heres the answer is very easy. Although I have only tried it on OSX 10.3 (panther) and OSX 10.4 (tiger). The Process is very easy to connect. 1. Plug in USB Receiver. 2. Press connect button on receiver directly followed by connect button on the underside of Mouse. (If signal LED on receiver doesn't flash repeat step) 3. Press connect button on receiver directly followed by connect button on the underside of Keyboard. (If signal LED on receiver doesn't flash repeat step) Believe it or not thats all you have to do. No Driver is required as it works the same as a wired USB keyboard and mouse the receiver does the hard work for you.

It is not optical, it is a mouse with a ball, which is better for cheap mouse, optical mouse require high quality to scroll smoothlyon the screen. I have not been able to make it work on XP or Win 2k laptop or workstation , manufacturer website doesn't mention this product anymore so... maybe it works

I would also like to know if the mouse is optical, and I'd like to know if the mouse uses rechargable batteries and has a system to recharge them. I bought a set where the mouse had a rechargable battery system and it was great, but the keyboard went faulty, so the set was replaced by a different make and the mouse uses ordinary batteries. Unfortunately, ordinary batteries run out too quick which makes it costly to use.

Is the mouse optical? I can see that this question has been asked twice already, and still has not been answered. The first answer to this direct question was to state that it is a scroll mouse which has nothing to do with it being optical or not. So, is it optical? Thanks
