Gaming ? by Richy
Hi this looks great for my son's Christmas gift.
1 question would he be able to plug his Xbox360 into this as well as his PC ? don't matter if he has to unplug 1 to use the other
Thanks
That would be possible with this monitor.
Great value monitor by Paul-B
This looked too good to be true, and I was looking for a replacement for my 3 years old Dell 20" LCD, so I ordered one, which arrived promptly the next day. It was well-packed and easy to assemble and set-up.On first switching on and powering up my PC (Windows 7 Ultimate) the monitor was picked-up and recognised by the o/s. Display adaptor is NVidia GForce 8400GS. For 20 seconds or so the screen flickered while it did a self-setup, then stabilised.
First impressions were very good. The display is bright, the colours and definitions crisp, and it didn't need any further setup from myself. There were no dead pixels at all. I don't use the built-in speakers so can't comment on them. Input is DVI and DSub, both of which I use. Controls are easy to use and well explained in the manual on the disk supplied (although the printed setup leaflet is useless).
To switch from DVI to DSub you have to press the "Up" and "Down" arrows at the same time, which can be fiddly - on my Dell monitor it was easier, with just one button to press, but you soon get used to it.
I'm not a gamer so can't comment on how good it is for that, but it's large enough for me to get two A4 pages up side-by-side if I want to.
All-in-all a great monitor and a steal at the price. Highly recommended, I'll be buying some more of these as my clients need to upgrade their systems.

Macbook Pro compatible by Ian
Is this compatible with the Mini DisplayPort output of a 2009 Macbook Pro?
Do I need a Mini DisplayPort - DVI-D adaptor?
Will it work?
No, you would need to use a Mini DisplayPort - DVI-D adaptor to connect this monitor to your Macbook.
