Great Card by nick
Works perfectly, was easy to install and was detected instantly. Installation with software and drivers was simple. However the software it comes with is very poor but there is quite a lot of freeware available on the net to use with the card. Just to let you know it only needs one aerial lead to be able to get dual channel stuff working.
Great Card by Andrew Mac
At first the card was workng great in Vista Media Centre an generated a great picture even in my low signal area, using a £10 indoor antenna. Easy setup, only criticism being that the card ran quite hot.
I only ran into problems when i installed a further 2GB RAM to total 4. Just read above about compatability issues with 4 GB of RAM. I never even thought of checking that sort of thing. Does anyone know of a solution to this.
Other than this it's the best tuner card i've used and great price.

Ive not had any problems with extra memory in my media centre running this card with that amount of memory. Perhaps check pinnacles website for updated BDA drivers.

Spec says the card is 6.8cm high, which is perfect. My question is, is a low profile backplate included?
I don't think so no, but they are usually removable
good product as long as not used with vista 64 bit by svenski
works well with vista windows media centre but be aware that vista 64-bit is only supported by a beta driver and fails to run above 3.5GB installed RAM. also note, the PCTV application is not compatible with vista x64. Once these problems are sorted out it deserves full marks.
