Comments, Questions & Reviews:
Will watercooling do? by Barryonepointfour
I am planning on building a new system with this CPU and I was wondering if I should install a back fan in the Sharkoon Vaya Value Black Midi Tower Windowed Chassis w/ USB3.0 ( 47084 ) or will Corsair H40 Water-Cooling CPU Cooler( 47893 ) do? Also could I remove the front fan if I install the water cooling?
if your running the cpu at stock speed adding a fan at the rear should be sufficent if you going to overclock water cooling is a good option because it dsnt take up much space and you get good cooling performance you could remove the from fan if you wanted but i would recommend removing the rear fan to install the water cooling

does the non k version support virtualisation?

Would this work fine with: by Esz
45511 & 46967 would work fine with this, should it not?
Absolutely, although you would need to overclock the RAM in the BIOS in order to the full 1600MHz speed otherwise it will run at the fastest speed natively supported (in this case 1333MHz).

Overclock by LMB
Hi,
Does this CPU support overclocking?
Thanks a lot.
No, the only i-series processors suitable for overclocking end in a k, so for the i5 your looking for the 2500k (Qc 43216)
