Corsair Builder Series CX600 80PLUS Bronze Certified

CX Series power supply units are an excellent choice for basic system builds and desktop PC computer upgrades. CX Series PSUs are available in a variety of power configurations, and include features that are normally found only on premium power supplies.

Reliable and Compatible

The CX Series is built and tested to strict standards for trouble-free installation and smooth operation.

Low Noise

80PLUS Bronze certified efficiency and clever fan design allow for little or no detectable fan noise during regular operation.

Good Looks

The matte black finish, black-sleeved cables and black connectors help give your system a restrained, high-tech look.

Features

Corsair Engineering and Quality Control

Every Corsair power supply is designed by our California engineering team and built to our exact specifications. The same care that goes into the design and testing of our renowned high-power enthusiast power supplies also goes into the CX Series, because you need confidence and reliability regardless of your build budget.

Ample Connectors and Long Cables

Long cables make CX Series suitable for installation even in full-height tower cases, and the generous cable count allows you to power multiple components and storage devices.

Large-Diameter, Thermally Controlled Fan

Once you’ve installed a PSU, you shouldn’t have to think about it. Employing a thermally controlled fan makes the CX Series quiet at idle, and the large diameter reduces noise even when you’re pushing your system hard.

Black Goes with Everything

You’re building a PC, not a battleship, and appearance counts. The matte black finish and all-black sleeved cables and connectors help give your system a high-tech, restrained look.

Question  Can this power my new card by Dan

I saw this PSU doesn't have any 6-pin connectors, but it has 2x 8-pin (6+2) connectors. Will the 6+2 connectors un-hook and work with a Radeon R9 270x, which requires a single 6-pin connector?

If not, what PSU would you recommend for this card?

Thanks :)

Yes this will be fine for you

hi will this power supply work with a MSI 970A-G46 AMD 970A with one XFX R7 260X graphics card and maybe another XFX R7 260X graphics card in the future

I would suggest 750W or above if you are planning to crossfire graphics cards to be safe.

Question  PSU by Luke

I bought a pre bundle with aria several years ago, I don't know the exact specifications but this included a 955 BE and a AM3 micro atx motherboard and mushkin silverline 1333 RAM, My PSU has recently given out and as I've purchased my products from you, Is it possible you can guide me to find a new replacement, but keep it cheap. I've also got a 6770 GPU.

The bundle contained
Mirco Atx mobo am3
4GB of mushkin silver line 1333
955 BE overclocked upto 4.0ghz
I'm sure the price was £180-£260

This was purchased 2009-2010
