Question  Question by Danny

would a gtx 590 work with this psu with i7-950 not planning any overclocking or sli

Answer by andrewn on Wednesday, August 3, 2011
That's borderline, for a 590 I'd play it safe and go for something a little beefier, such as quick code 43906.

Question  Question by Ben

Hello, I have had this PSU for nearly 4 months now and I'm happy to say that it works perfectly fine but...ever since I have been using this, I have downloaded a software that calculates the PC's temperatures and it says my GPU is around 48C which people say is high but I don't really tend to bother but today it went up to 60C and I would like to ask is it because the PSU is too powerful for the graphics card to keep up? I bought a graphics card from here about 2 years ago, its a Nvidia GeForce 9400GT 512mb DDR2 graphics card, I thought maybe its cause the card is old and a lot of dust has been collected but I have cleaned it and it still remains in the 40's. If I bought quickcode 43435, will that help?

Hi
I wouldn’t worry as 40 to 50 is just idle temperature.
