    Will this be suitable for use with the following - Quad Q8300 CPU, Asus P5Q iP45, 3Gb ram etc ? Or do I need something bigger ? Thanks

    I have a reasonably power hungry machine: a Core 2 Duo 6700 CPU, 8800GTS graphics, two hard drives, etc. It has been completely stable since upgrading to the Xilence 480W a couple of weeks ago, and is about 50% of the noise volume of my old PSU. Why pay more?

    Just got one of these. VERY impressed !
    PSU is totaly silent, the 120mm temperature controlled fan just spins slowly. PSU runs very cool.
    The construction is very good, its also quite heavy for a 480w psu - which is a good sign. Plenty of connections for Hdd's and such like. Has 6/8 pin Pcie graphics card connector too.

    Ideal for a media centre pc or for people who hate noise.

    Well worth the money !
