Its OK I guess by Atti
Its a good power supply.
My issue was that the SATA connectors were part of the same cable and too short and so I had to buy a SATA extension cable for an extra £5.
Its not as silent as I had hoped, but that could just be my hard drive or graphics card.
5 Stars for delivery though - arrived in just 2 days!
Fit an Acer Aspite E380? by PurplePenny
Would this be OK to fit in an Acer Aspire E380?
ASrock P43R1600Twins 4pin 12v by Hixxy
My ASrock P43R1600TWINS has an additonal 8 pin 12v connector for Mb power. I'm running it with a 4 pin connector now and a 450w PSU fine. Would this one work also as it has only a 4 pin 12v connector?

I am not in the habit of writing reviews for stuff...! But I wanted to source a quieter PSU for use in a friend's PC used for music applications. The generic ~400W PSU already in there was working fine, but was obviously quite noisy. I wondered whether: 1. I could find one under say fifty to a hundred quid, & 2. This one would do the job - or indeed make any real difference.
Bought it - great price - fitted it in ten minutes, no problems - and it has cut the noise output from the full-tower PC easily by one-half! Made a genuine, tangible difference; recommended.
Have I ordered the right one? by Sonny
Hi
Bit of a novice with these components. I was looking at the Xilence Model No XP420-12R Power 420W Quiet PSU. I have ordered your Xilence 420W gaming PSU. Are they one and the same? Also, I already have a power lead for the PSU I have that failed - will that work in this one?
Regards
Sonny
