     Great Product For Price And Great Service by Robin

    Bought one of these a few weeks ago the first one arrived DOA which was a bummer as in Milton Keynes, Sent back RMA and got the second a few days later and its been running great !!

    hi guys
    i bought this psu to run the geforce 7900gs(agp) i bought from aria,and i am thoroughly impressed with the unit
    it arrived in a well packed box with excellent packaging to protect the unit from damage and upon opening you will see the psu,4x securing screws,insruction leaflet and a power lead,all well packed
    upon removing the psu i noticed the weight which is a good indication of a decent power supply,and the unit itself is well built and very sturdy
    the cables/leads are all braided which helps with the cooling of your case and also helps with the cosmetic appearence of your pc case
    there is plenty of 4pin molex connectors(3 x 2x 4pin) and you also get 2 x sata and 1 x pci-express 6 pin,plus there is support for both 20 and 24pin motherboards
    well thats the unit itself but as for performance ,well as i said this was to power a geforce 7900gs and it does this task admirally,xfx recommend at least 20A on a 12v rail,well this psu has 2 x 12v rails with a max of 17A on each with a total 25A over the two
    allthough xfx and nvidia state 20A on the 12v rail,the actual geforce 7900gs uses just 3.5A of power,however the 20A total is also allowing for other hardware and peripherals
    so in reflection the hiper 425watt psu is a excellent purchase for anyone running a single core pc(athlon64/pentium 4) and a agp based system,however this will also run a core 2 duo/athlon x 2 no problem,and depending on the graphic card youare using this should be ok
    this is a excellent psu for most home computers
