if i get a sli graphics card with this board and connect to my tv through hdmi on graphics card does that give me the audio as well or do i have to connect the audio in a differnt way as am torn between this board or going am3 wih the gd70 which has hdmi on the board itself

You wouldn't be able to use SLI on this motherboard. You could get audio via a HDMI port on a graphics card.
